The CBSE CTET Notification is out for the December 2024 exams. Eligible aspirants can start applying for the exam as the application filing dates are closing soon. The CBSE suggests aspirants start filing the forms early as there might appear some technical glitch in the last few days. The Central Board of Secondary Education released the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test on the 17th of September 2024. Individuals who meet the CTET eligibility criteria will be able to fill up the application forms for the CTET till the 16th of October 2024. The CBSE has also announced the exam dates for December 2024 session.
CBSE CTET Notification 2024
The CTET exams provide teaching opportunities to individuals who have done their bachelor’s in education. The Central Teaching Entrance Test is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education and students from all over India can apply for the CTET examinations. After clearing this exam, selected candidates are eligible to be recruited for central-level teaching jobs. It is an entrance exam which means that aspirants who have cleared the exam will not be selected for any teaching job. However, they will become eligible for applying to teaching jobs all over the country.
The CBSE CTET exam is being conducted twice a year for the feasibility of the aspirants. The result for the first session of the CTET exam in 2024 is out now. Candidates who could not clear the exam can attempt the CBSE CTET December Exam 2024 being conducted on the 1st of December 2024 at hundreds of centers in the country. The result for which will be announced in February 2025. The exam is concluded in two shifts. The first and the second paper both will be taken in online format. It is a single-day exam that CBSE administers in two shifts (morning and afternoon).

CBSE CTET December Exam Dates for 2024
For the December session of the CBSE CTET exam, the aspirants will be writing their exams on the 1st of December 2024. The exam will be conducted in two shifts and each shift will contain one paper. The mode of examinations for both the papers will be online as it is a computer-based test. Candidates are not allowed to take pen and paper in the examination hall.
The respective centers will provide a rough page and pen for the work which will be again submitted to the centers. There will be no break meanwhile the exam is running and candidates will not be allowed to go outside the examination hall while the exam is continuing. Therefore, the CBSE suggests the candidates take their water bottles which have to be transparent. Aspirants are prohibited from wearing any jewelry item.

Who is Eligible for CBSE CTET Exam 2024?
- There is no maximum age limit but those younger than 17 cannot apply for the exam
- Got qualified marks in 12th and bachelors degree.
